Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assist and commitment to bettering South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services in the course of an engagement using the company's senior professionals at a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% from the registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
